HUNGER FOR GOD

The quest for the satisfaction in material possessions has been fruitless. Christ said, "…a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth." Luke 12:15. True happiness and meaning are not found in material things. To meet the spiritual poverty and hunger the Apostles and the early church stressed preaching and teaching of God's word. This is where Salvation begins. This is what we need to meet the hunger for God. "Faith commeth by the hearing and the hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17. And the question is asked, "How shall they hear without a Preacher." Romans 10:14. One is born again "…by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." I Peter 1:23. It is the Holy Spirit using the word, which gives spiritual life. John .3:15.

A Transformed Life

True Evangelism is the fearless, powerful proclamation of God's Word, the FINISHED WORK OF JESUS CHRIST on the cross. "There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Act 4:12.
